VIO is a tokenization platform to digitize vouchers and loyalty point programs for various industries. Last month, the VIO teams were working on:

  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Banking sector
  • Gaming sector
  • VIO landing page development

Developing enterprise-level Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)

Coded Solution uses V Systems’ tech stack to implement various projects, tailored to enterprise needs, including side chains and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).

In the last few months, Coded Solution has been developing a DAO for the financial industry and preparing for the launch of a DAO in the travel industry.

New partnerships

New MoU signed between Coded Solution Limited and Metadomo, an innovative Web3 loyalty platform and ecosystem.

This collaboration aims to expand the utility of loyalty points, particularly in the mobile telecommunications sector, leveraging existing relationships and integrations with major industry players such as China Mobile International.

Tech & development

VGraph is the result of V Systems’ exploration of next-generation solutions to improve the current V Systems network and boost its technical capabilities. The VGraph team has been recently focusing on:

  • Added preliminary transaction data structure
  • Enabled transaction broadcasting between nodes via the P2P network
  • Preliminary execution of contract functions through transactions
  • Prototype prime PoW mining via the CryptoMark app
  • Support configurable ports for node communication

While VGraph is already in R&D, we are currently looking to release the test chain in late 2025 –2026. More details on the timeline and VGraph functionalities will be shared in the upcoming quarters.

VKube is a Kubernetes-based container service for developers and enterprises to run containerized applications on the cloud, without installing and operating the Kubernetes control panel or worker nodes.

New and ongoing feature development

Frontend

  • Added a QR code payment feature to the web page, including order payment and renewal order payment.
  • Added a refresh balance function to the wallet in the account section.
  • Refactored the UI of the renewed interface to accommodate the introduction of the QR code payment feature.
  • Implemented logic and UI for handling multiple payments for orders paid via QR code.

Backend

  • Enabled users to create new secrets based on already purchased services with customizable validity periods that can expire at any chosen time. Also optimized the middleware for secret validation.
  • Developed compatibility on the merchant side for both pending and paying versions to balance reliability and flexibility.
  • Removed payer restrictions on the merchant side, enhancing payment flexibility.
  • Implemented order timer code, added a timer for paying status, and set up a cron job for expiration checks.
  • Addressed the “namespace exist” issue caused by different MongoDB versions in the implementation of distributed locks using MongoDB.

Optimizations

Frontend

  • Refactored the shopping cart UI to display more product information.
  • Redesigned the Deploy command and args functionality and UI.
  • Simplified the status text displayed on the Order and Service pages, such as changing “OrderPending” to “Pending.”

Backend

  • Refactored the execute contract transaction function data extraction method on the merchant side.
  • Researched MongoDB index types to optimize the insertion and querying of large amounts of unordered data, such as addresses and transaction IDs.
  • Refactored the Loki query logic, optimizing pagination queries, tail queries, and time range queries. Investigated how to prevent data loss when using timestamps as pagination conditions.
  • Created documentation for Promtail configuration and the Loki query API.
  • Addressed the issue of duplicate service expiration reminders being sent.
  • Implemented cascading deletion for k8s deployments using the k8s owner reference attribute, reducing the number of network requests needed to delete services.
  • Investigated the introduction of a Redis-based message queue and bitmap cache to achieve distributed consistency and distributed locking.
  • Wrote documentation for the deployment process and related issues for the platform’s AWS Lambda, for use in both current deployments and future upgrades.
  • Added YAML files for ConfigMap in both test and production environments for VKube and merchant, enabling automated configuration file updates in the CICD pipeline.
  • Wrote and reviewed user documentation, handled deployment, and updated related AI assistant resources.

Tachyon Protocol is a decentralized Internet protocol that aims to bring new levels of user privacy, security, speed, and freedom to today’s Internet. Its first product is a decentralized VPN. Tachyon chose V Systems for its well-designed SPoS consensus mechanism, the capabilities of Euclid smart contracts, the Staking 2.0 initiative as well as the VSYS team’s approach to partnerships and ecosystem building.

In the past month, the Tachyon team worked on the following items:

  • Addressed issues during the Boost process for certain addresses caused by network latency and routing conflicts. Optimized network paths and enhanced dynamic allocation of server resources to improve the success rate of Boost operations.
  • Optimized and adjusted the current IPX staking model, while conducting an in-depth discussion on the shortcomings of the existing staking model. The team will gradually optimize and adjust the staking reward mechanism, improve user interface interactions, and enhance the execution efficiency of underlying smart contracts.
  • Identified and fixed logical issues in the Boost staking process, optimized the exception handling mechanism in the staking logic to prevent future similar issues, and conducted multiple stress tests in a test environment to ensure the system’s stability under high-load conditions after the fixes.
  • Optimized network connectivity in certain regions, adjusted network configurations, optimized connection paths, and improved data transmission efficiency. Upgraded the hardware of some nodes to enhance their network processing capabilities.
  • Streamlined the process for large-scale staking operations by simplifying steps, improving efficiency, enhancing user experience, and strengthening security verification measures. These improvements have undergone multiple rounds of testing in a test environment, demonstrating significant increases in efficiency and security.
  • Focused on optimizing unstable node connections by adjusting connection parameters between nodes and adding backup paths to increase connection stability. Also upgraded the hardware of affected nodes to ensure their continuous stable operation under high-load conditions.
  • Addressed the issue of node bans by adjusting communication protocols to circumvent blocking, enhancing encryption techniques to conceal traffic characteristics, and deploying dynamic IP switching mechanisms to bypass bans.
