V Systems’ Highlights for December:
- The VSwap contract which serves as a method to allow “Automated Market Making”is undergoing the preliminary testing stage.
- The VOption contract that allows users to buy and sell options for of cryptocurrency assets is currently being developed, and the designs are under review.
- V Cloud is developing sharing Postgresql modules and service provider SDKs related template parsing modules.
- V web wallet v0.2.7 will be released soon, which will include NFT-related functions, including adding, sending, and querying NFTs. V Wallet Extension is now available on Google Chrome Web Store.
- The OCT token is a cross-chain token supported by both the V Systems and Ethereum blockchain. Its ERC-20 token is now available for trading on Uniswap.
- IPX Wallet staking which enables all participants to join IPX staking on Tachyon VPN platform will be released soon.

Mainnet Development
There are several contract templates currently being worked on, all of which are in different stages of development.
The VSwap contract is undergoing the preliminary testing stage, unit tests have been written for this contract template, and once finalised, will be updated on testnet. This contract will serve as a method to allow “Automated Market Making”, where liquidity providers can inject funds into a pool that allows traders to instantly trade their assets at a price determined by mathematical functions.

A VOption contract is currently being developed, and the designs are under review. The VOption contract will allow users to buy and sell options of cryptocurrency assets. These options will be enforced via the underlying smart contract.

Utility Development
V Cloud is developing sharing Postgresql modules and service provider SDKs related template parsing modules, and completing the migration of some modules of the original platform to provider SDKs. At the same time, the team is conducting research and deployment of k8s related components.

2. Ecosystem Updates
NFT Octopus Development Updates
The OCT token is a cross-chain token supported by both the V Systems and Ethereum blockchain. 40% of the OCT tokens have been generated on the Ethereum network, of which 3,000 OCT tokens have been allocated to the Uniswap Pool, and are now available for trading. 60% of the OCT tokens have been issued on the V Systems network, in which 27,000 tokens will be distributed via a community airdrop and the remaining 9,000 OCT tokens will be allocated to VSYS Staking 2.0 participants.
The first ever NFT that will be minted on the V Systems blockchain soon. Stay tuned!
Tachyon Development Updates
IPX Wallet staking will come to the Tachyon VPN v2.6. This function will enable all participants to join IPX staking on Tachyon VPN platform without the need to operate a node. The v2.6 release is expected to go live this month.

3. Supernode Staking
Over 1.99 billion VSYS have been actively staking on the V Systems network, representing 35% of all VSYS in existence!
Total amount of VSYS engaged in staking: 1,992,967,572 (~35%)
According to Stakingrewards.com, 35% of VSYS tokens have been staked on the blockchain with an annual yield of 11.39%. VSYS has received an overall StakingRewards Score of 65.48%.
