VGraph
VGraph is the result of V Systems’ exploration of next-generation solutions to improve the current V Systems network and boost its technical capabilities. The VGraph team has been recently focusing on:
- Implementing the updated version of the Supernode Proof of Stake consensus algorithm
- Testing Schnorr signature algorithm using Rust Schnorrkel library
- Experimenting with the nix build environment
As it is set to be released in early to mid-2025, we will share more information about VGraph in 3–4Q2024.

Developing enterprise-level Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)
Coded Solution uses V Systems’ tech stack to implement various projects, tailored to enterprise needs, including side chains and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
In the past month, the team has focused on the soft launch of a DAO for the travel and entertainment industries.
Hosted on an application run by a telecommunications giant, the DAO will be entering its Soft Launch phase in the first week of July 2024. More info soon.

In mid-June, V Systems’ partner company Coded Tech received the “Basic Technology — Payment and Remittance Technologies” prize for our digital payment solution Co+Pay, awarded by the Hong Kong Digital Finance Awards 2024.

VKube is a Kubernetes-based container service for developers and enterprises to run containerized applications on the cloud, without installing and operating the Kubernetes control panel or worker nodes.
New features
- Added the Network Alias Service and Network Policy features.
- Completed the user network extension functionalities Alias and Policy (container network policy) to enhance connectivity and security of services — currently in the pre-release phase. An Alias helps call a container port in a given cluster by using the service name or service name+port.
- Completed support for multiple configuration files — currently in the pre-release phase.
- Integrated third-party tools to track user traffic on the V-Cloud website.
- Completed the development of the feature that allows the update of service ownership — currently in the backend testing phase.
Ongoing optimization
- Currently adjusting the support for multiple user service configuration files on the VKube webpage.
- On the VKube dashboard, added a new functionality to restore the last state before automatic logout.
- Modifying the Command and Args structure during user deployment to optimize UI and integrate interface parameters that transmit a string array.
- Changed the seed mnemonic hint component to a sidebar popup message, and fixed the issue of disorganized buttons on the fill-in page of the VKube dashboard.
- Refactored the Delete API for Renewal Orders on the merchant side–Renewal Orders that are not paid on time will no longer return Renewal Order data to the frontend.
- Refactored the scheduled task for CheckVsysNodes on the merchant side.
- Optimized parameters for the Deployment API on VKube.
- Completed the refactoring of the Event trigger on the merchant side, using an interface to implement transaction binding, optimized JSON serialization and de-serialization, and added unit tests.
- Optimized the retrieval of data entries for executing contract transactions, and made it compatible with new types of tokens.
- Resolved dependencies on private repositories during build image using Go Vendor.
Bug Fixing
- Refactored the logic code for the Service Expiration reminder using transactions to optimize state changes on the merchant side, thus implementing a simple retry mechanism. Added new unit tests.
- Changed the database operations to bulk updates instead of single operations.
- Fixed the bug related to the erroneous expiration reminders sent after renewal.
- Conducting experiments with deploying multiple Event Trigger nodes that simultaneously send webhooks to the merchant side, ensuring the idempotency of order updates to address the single point of failure in the Event Trigger program.
- Tackling the issue of failed refunding of a pending order – there is an issue with the automatic deletion of already synchronized secrets.
Tachyon Protocol
Tachyon Protocol is a decentralized Internet protocol that aims to bring new levels of user privacy, security, speed, and freedom to today’s Internet. Its first product is a decentralized VPN. Tachyon chose V Systems for its well-designed SPoS consensus mechanism, the capabilities of Euclid smart contracts, the Staking 2.0 initiative as well as the VSYS team’s approach to partnerships and ecosystem building.
In the past month, the Tachyon team worked on the following:
- Addressed the issue of excessive load on some nodes by optimizing resource management, adjusting task distribution strategies, and enhancing hardware configurations, and conducted performance and stress tests to ensure stable operation.
- Located and fixed issues regarding member connections by optimizing the network connection module and improving error-handling mechanisms to ensure stable connectivity for users.
- Fixed operational interruptions in some operator nodes by optimizing task distribution strategies to balance the load among nodes and upgrading hardware to enhance processing capabilities.
- Continuously optimized network stability by addressing potential issues that could affect it, including updating network protocols, improving network configurations, and optimizing routing algorithms.
- Added a load balancing layer, introducing advanced load balancing technology, designed and deployed new load balancing strategies to improve traffic distribution efficiency, and tested various traffic distribution algorithms.
- To enhance network coverage and response times, the team added new nodes in key areas where user demand is continuously increasing, strengthening and enhancing the Tachyon network infrastructure.
