The release of new contract features in the Fermat update is finalised and is stable. Users can freely use the designed contracts. Read the link below for more details.

Unit tests for a large amount of opcodes have been completed, further contract development and unit testing will continue. There is already a large number of opcodes and the possible computations that can be performed on the V Systems blockchain through contracts are vast. Opcodes are currently being designed to further increase contract functionality.

The atomic swap contract is currently in its test stages. In later releases, cross-chain swaps, or VSYS to token swaps will be possible. Once the contract feature is sure to be robust it will be released for public usage. Tests must be completed with care to ensure there are no methods to exploit contract features.
